“Stan invited me to go to Jamaica for the first time in 1996 as an Adult Leader. He asked that I work with our youth in Vacation Bible School. I found myself in the position of sharing the Gospel with a 25-year-old Rastafarian man. I was given the gift of seeing Jesus change his life that day as well as mine. I would never have known that joy if not for Stan’s passion for the Jamaican people. He asked me to return next year, and I gladly accepted. We were able to visit that same village and upon arrival my Rastafarian friend, Garnett, was waiting on his “American friend” to explain “baptism” to him. I was able to encourage him to follow through with being baptized. Two trips to Jamaica and two life changing moments. Thanks for taking me to Jamaica, buddy, your actions helped God make me into a bold witness.

I have had the opportunity to help Stan send others to Jamaica with the knowledge that Stan was going to not only bless the Jamaican people with supplies for building and food but also create a belief in young people that they can help change the lives of others. Many of those youth that participated in these trips have gone into full time ministry. What a testimony for Christ!”
